Charles Jumonville is the Vice President of Data Center Services at Transformyx.
He has been selected by AFCOM, a leading international association of data center professionals, as the “Data Center Manager of the Year” by the Editor of “Computer World,” the Editor of “Information Week” and the President of AFCOM.
He is the winner of the National Postal Forum, “Industry Excellence Award for State and Local Government.” He is the winner of the United States Postal Service, “Partners in Progress Award.” In addition, he is the winner of the Louisiana Civil Service League, “Charles E. Dunbar Career Service Award.”
He has spoken at national and international conferences and has published numerous management related articles as well featured in the book, ”Making Documents into Mail”. He has recently completed his term on the HDI Strategic Advisory Board, served as a facilitator on 'Financial Management of IT Services' for HDI Executive Forums, the ITT Computer Curriculum Advisory Board, is currently serving on the Baton Rouge School of Computers Advisory Board.
Charles is an Information Technology leader with over 35 years of Information Technology management experience. He specializes in integrating Information Technology and Professional Management. Over the years, he has held positions as Information Services Computer Configuration Analyst, Information Services Management Consultant, Information Services Center Operations Manager, Information Services Assistant Director, Information Services Director, Information Technology Director (CIO), Executive Vice President and now Vice President of Data Center Services.
He has extensive experience in developing and implementing Information Technology organizational strategies for various business environments. He served as principal in responding to Information Technology audits; written and evaluated ITB’s and RFP’s in both in the IT and healthcare environments and has over 40 years’ experience creating Information Technology (IT) Governance, consisting of IT policies and procedures.
